featherquiills: Okay, I love Miranda Lambert and everything, but I hate this song.I’m sorry, but people are allowed to feel sad if they break up with someone and the fact that they are doesn’t make them any less of a lady. It sure doesn’t make them crazy. This was just a bad move on Miranda’s part. ^ the song is actually saying exactly the opposite of what you think it is. The point of the song is that it IS okay to be upset, despite what “mama” says, because mama is not the one who suffered the heartbreak. The entire song is a commentary on the concept of southern matriarch mothers who care more about appearances than allowing their daughters to experience the pain of a break up. Miranda Lambert IS awesome, and is actually saying exactly what you want her to with this song.
